Supervision in Chorley, Lancashire or Online

I offer supervision for trainee and qualified counsellors and psychotherapists as well as professionals working in other sectors.

My Approach

I am a relational integrative psychotherapist and qualified clinical supervisor working from a trauma-informed, sensorily-aware, neuro-affirming approach.

As a relational therapist, my priority is the therapeutic or supervisory relationship with a focus on building a strong working alliance in order to support the clinical work. Part of this is gaining an understanding of the context within which the individual operates (be that client or supervisee) which underpins my holistic way of working whilst facilitating an environment where all parts of the person are welcome in the room.

In my supervisory practice I particularly enjoy facilitating creative opportunities to support the clinical work which might include use of the sand tray, objects or use and creation of images.

I integrate the Seven-Eyed model of supervision developed by Peter Hawkins with Page and Wosket’s Cyclical Model.

I support professionals working in a range of settings and can offer fortnightly or monthly supervision sessions to meet your needs.

My Experience

I work in private practice with children, young people and adults and as an associate therapist in educational settings. My passions include: relational trauma, childhood adversity, neurodivergence and the impact of chronic stress on the body and mind.

I worked for over two decades in the education sector in SEND, safeguarding and senior leader roles. I was a Headteacher for 6 years. Through my own personal experiences, I recognise that supervision could have been a protective factor for my own wellbeing and a preventative measure for burnout.

I have also worked as a trauma-informed therapist for a charity supporting men harmed by sexual violence and worked as a therapist within prison settings as part of this role.

Supervision Fees

  • One to One (Qualified Practitioner) - £60 (1 hour) / £75 (1.5 hours)

  • For trainee counsellors or psychotherapists I offer a 10% discount
